Bemaxx ("Bemaxx", "we", "us") builds a self-improvement coaching app that analyzes photos you submit to give you a private read on your features and a personalized plan. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have. We’ve written it to be read, not skimmed past.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to the Bemaxx mobile app and any related services. Bemaxx is intended only for people aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17. If you believe a minor has used Bemaxx, contact us and we will delete the account and its data.
2. Information we collect
Profile information you provide: an optional display name, the goals you select, an optional age range (never an exact date of birth), your routine level, and your language preference.
Photos and scans: the face (and optional physique) photos you choose to capture or upload, and the analysis results derived from them (attribute scores, bands, and your protocol).
Subscription status: whether you have an active subscription or trial. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and managed through RevenueCat; we never receive or store your full payment card details.
Usage and device data: basic, non-identifying analytics about how features are used (for example, that a scan completed or a screen was viewed) and standard device/diagnostic information to keep the app working. We do not attach your photos or biometric data to analytics events.
3. How we use your information
To provide the core service: analyze your photos, generate your scores and protocol, track your progress over time, and power streaks, reminders, and history.
To operate subscriptions, restore purchases, and unlock premium features.
To improve reliability and fix problems using aggregate, non-identifying usage data.
To communicate with you about the service, including local notifications you have enabled. We do not sell your personal information, and we never use your photos for advertising.
4. Your photos and face scans
Your photos are the most sensitive data Bemaxx handles, and we treat them that way. They are used only to analyze your features and build your plan.
Photos are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are stored so you can re-scan and see before/after progress, and they are never shared with other users or sold to anyone.
You are in control: you can delete any individual scan, delete all scans and photos at once, or delete your entire account at any time from the You tab. Deletion is permanent.
We do NOT use your photos to train or improve our analysis models unless you explicitly turn on "Help improve the model," which is OFF by default. You can turn it back off at any time; doing so stops any future use of your photos for model improvement.
Share cards are aspirational only and never reveal your raw scores unless you choose to include them.
5. AI processing disclosure
To produce your scores, your photos are processed by a cloud-based artificial-intelligence service (a third-party AI processor acting on our behalf under contract). The AI returns structured estimates that the app turns into your read and protocol.
These outputs are modeled estimates for self-improvement and entertainment. They are not facts, identity verification, biometric identification, or any judgment of your worth. Your "potential ceiling" is a modeled projection, not a promise.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Bemaxx offers auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. Billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by the respective app store under its terms.
We receive your entitlement status (active, trial, expired) so we can unlock features. We do not receive your card number or full billing details.
7. How information is shared
We share data only with service providers who help us run Bemaxx, and only as needed: our cloud AI processor (to analyze photos), RevenueCat and the app stores (to manage subscriptions), and analytics/infrastructure providers (using non-identifying data).
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users. If Bemaxx is involved in a merger or acquisition, we will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different policy.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your photos with advertisers.
8. Data retention and deletion
Until you create an account, your data lives locally on your device (guest mode) and is removed if you delete the app. When backed up to our servers, we keep your scans and profile until you delete them or your account.
Deleting all scans removes your photos and their results. Deleting your account removes your profile, scans, photos, and associated data. Backups and logs are purged on a rolling basis shortly after deletion.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can access it.
10. Age requirement
Bemaxx is rated 17+ and is not directed to children. You must confirm you are 17 or older to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17.
11. Your rights and choices
You can access and edit your profile, export a copy of your data as a file, delete your scans or account, and opt out of model-improvement use of your photos at any time from within the app.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. To exercise any right, contact us at support@bemaxx.app.
12. International users
Bemaxx may process and store data on servers located in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. By using Bemaxx you understand your data may be processed in these locations.
13. Not medical advice
Bemaxx is a coaching and self-improvement tool. It does not provide medical, dental, dermatological, psychological, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and its scores are not health assessments. Always consult a qualified professional for any health concern.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will revise the "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
